Our Story
Over thirteen years old Mixed Pet are two convenient veterinary hospitals in South Charlotte — Ballantyne & Stonecrest. Bright, modern offices, filled with the latest technology, experienced well trained support staff, and the best doctors in town. Our veterinarians have over 50 years of combined experience plus the latest training in cutting edge procedures. This combination of experience, care and the latest technology is why Dr. Schoolmeester created Mixed Pet.

Value
We work hard to provide a valuable service at a fair price. At Mixed Pet we know that everyone is price conscious so we match prices for flea, tick, and heartworm medications with 1-800-PetMeds.

We offer spay and neuter surgeries for as low as $115/$65.00. Come by or call for details on the additional a-la-carte options and services to the surgery.

Convenience

With two locations, we are minutes from just about anywhere in South Charlotte. We specifically build in flexibility into our office schedules so that we can provide same day appointments. Plus Mixed Pet offers a drop off service, where if you have an appointment during the day, you can drop off your loved one on your way to work, and pick them up on the way home. We’ll throw in kisses and treats for free.

Pet Portal Online Access
As an active client our Pet Portal service provides secure online access to your pet’s medical history and also provides the following:
Purchase products and medications online
Print proof of vaccinations
Order prescription refills
Request appointments
Setup email reminders to help you remember to give your pet their medicine
Cook four course meals and have them ready when you get home from work (ok Pet Portal doesn’t do this, but it would be nice!)
