Originally from Ridgefield, CT, my parents moved our family to Seoul, S. Korea, during my High School years. After graduating from Seoul Foreign School, I zigzagged across the world. I later found myself back in Korea, where I met my future husband stationed with the US Army. We relocated to Ft. Hood, Texas, where my husband finished his active duty status. We eventually made our way to College Station, where I attended vet school and graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009.

Family matters then moved us to the great state of North Carolina, where we have been ever since. I have worked at diverse clinics in Charlotte (including Mixed Pet Vet for three years), gaining business knowledge and developing my veterinary skills. I left Mixed Pet for a few years to follow my passion for veterinary dentistry. I am thrilled to be back with Mixed Pet Vet applying my advanced dentistry training in our new dental surgical suite. When I am not head down and laser-focused on routine or extended dental surgery procedures, I am eager to see patients for their wellness and sick visits.

My husband and I share our lives with four large dogs. Two Olde English Bulldogges named Petyr and Jolene, two Rottweilers, Rogue, and our youngest family member, Moana. My other passions are puzzles, trying to stay fit, rum, and creating delicious homemade Korean food (or any food!).

My pup and I had a great experience at Mixed Pets/Stonecrest! We were greeted immediately and led to a room. The Vet Tech was supportive, helpful and well versed in her job. The Veterinarian informed me well on caring for my baby! Thank you! Highly recommend!

We have been going to Mixed Pet Vet for years and have always been confident in the skill and nurturing provided by everyone that works there. We just got a puppy and had her spayed 2 days ago. We have never felt the need to search for a different vet.. highly recommend them!

We took our mini golden doodle for the first time yesterday. The entire staff is so nice and the Doctor is very thorough. We will definitely be bringing our Lola back!

Would highly recommend this Vet! This is our first time having a puppy and they were patient and understanding with all the questions we had. Our puppy was cared for extremely well and did not fuss at all.

Terrific service. The vet took extra time to sit with me and answer ALL my questions for our new puppy. Front desk staff always helpful with questions and rescheduling appts. Thankful they are our go-to for pet care!

I have had a hard time finding a good vet in Charlotte, but went here on a recommendation from someone I trust. I had an excellent experience. Not only was the staff great as a whole, the vet spent an extended amount of time with me, much more than any other vet has. As a testament to how good my experience was, I plan on keeping them as my primary vet even though they're a solid 35 min away.

The office is very friendly upon arrival and prompt. Very clean and updated. The vet himself is kind and knowledgeable and provided us a lot of helpful puppy advise. We have been greatly pleased with this office and would recommend to a friend.

I recently completed my third visit to Mixxed Pet with my dog Luna, and I've gathered enough experience to share a thorough review. Despite Mixxed Pet being a bit of a trek from our home, I've found the journey worthwhile, thanks to the overall positive experiences we've had. The clinic has demonstrated a commendable commitment to pet health, although there are a few areas I believe could enhance their service even further.**Pros:**- **Comprehensive Care:** Across our visits, Luna has received attentive and thorough care. The staff's dedication to animal welfare is evident, and their expertise instills confidence in their treatment decisions.- **Take-Home Preventatives:** An appreciable aspect of Mixxed Pet is their preventive care approach. They provide necessary treatments to continue care at home, which helps in maintaining Luna's health between visits.**Suggestions for Improvement:**- **Pre-Visit Coordination for Preventatives:** While the take-home preventive treatments are beneficial, it would be significantly more convenient if these could be provided in advance. Currently, obtaining these treatments necessitates an additional visit, incurring extra fees, which seems an area ripe for optimization.- **Transparency in Treatment:** I've noted that during visits, pets are taken to the back for their shots, away from the owner's view. While I trust the professionalism of the Mixxed Pet team, having the option for these to be administered in the owner's presence could offer reassurance and peace of mind. It’s understandable there may be valid reasons for the current approach, but an option for owner visibility could be comforting.- **Education on Risks and Signs:** After one of the treatments, specifically the flea and tick prevention combo, Luna exhibited unusual behavior that raised concerns about seizures. It underscores the importance of vets communicating potential risks and signs to watch for with any treatment. Greater transparency and education on this front would be incredibly beneficial for pet owners to make informed decisions and monitor their pets effectively post-treatment.**Final Thoughts:**Mixxed Pet has been a haven of care for Luna, marked by professional service and genuine concern for her well-being. While the commute is a consideration, the quality of care Luna receives makes it unquestionably worthwhile. As with any service, there is always room for growth and improvement. Incorporating feedback on treatment transparency, education on potential risks, and streamlining preventive care could elevate the Mixxed Pet experience further. Despite these suggestions, my trust in Mixxed Pet remains strong, and Luna will continue to be a regular patient. Everyone is friendly and loving to my puppy. Very professional and helpful! They have to be amazing because I travel from Huntersville to Ballantyne approximately 25-30 miles

Mixed Pet has been my veterinarian for nearly 20 years. They know my pets and they know my family. They have always found a way to answer any question and squeeze me in when needed. They are flexible in their approach and always have provided me with options and quality care
